Mr. Mark W. Kowlzan has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company since 2016. Prior to this, he served as the Vice President, General Manager, and Senior Vice President of the company’s Containerboard segment from 1998 to 2010. Mr. Kowlzan held senior operating positions at the company, including the Manager of the Counce, Tennessee Linerboard mill. He also serves as a Director of American Forest & Paper Association.

Mr. Kent A. Pflederer has been the executive vice president and chief financial officer of the company since 2025. Previously, he served as general counsel and corporate secretary of the company. Prior to this, he served as Senior Counsel, Corporate and Securities at Hospira, Inc. from 2004 to 2007 and worked in the corporate and securities practice at Mayer Brown, LLP from 1996 to 2004.

Mr. Thomas A. Hassfurther has been the President of the company since 2025. Previously, he served as the Executive Vice President of Corrugated Products from September 2009 to February 2025 and as Senior Vice President - Sales and Marketing, Corrugated Products from February 2005 to September 2009. He joined the company in 1977 and has held various senior level management and sales positions at PCA and Tenneco Packaging.

Mr. Joseph W. Vaughn has been the Senior Vice President of Engineering and Operations Support at the company since 2024. Previously, he served as the Vice President of Engineering and Project Management the company. Before joining the company in 2017, he spent 30 years in managerial and engineering roles at various pulp and paper companies.
