Mr. Jon E. Bortz has been the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of the company since 2009. Prior to this, he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer and a Trustee of LaSalle Hotel Properties from 1998 to 2009. Mr. Bortz served as the Chairman of LaSalle Hotel Properties from 2001 to 2009. He also served as the President of Hotel Investment and Development. Previously, he served as the Managing Director of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Investment Advisory Division from 1995 to 1998; and a Senior Vice President of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Investment Division from 1990 to 1995. Mr. Bortz joined the company in 1981.

Mr. Raymond D. Martz has been the Chief Financial Officer, Co- President, Treasurer and Secretary of the company since 2009. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Financial Officer for Phillips Edison & Company from 2007 to 2009. Previously, he served as the Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Treasurer of Eagle Hospitality Properties Trust, Inc from 2005 to 2007. Mr. Martz held several positions at LaSalle Hotel Properties in various finance roles including Treasurer from 2004 to 2005, the Vice President of Finance from 2001 to 2004 and Director of Finance from 1998 to 2001. Earlier, he worked as an Associate at Tishman Hotel Corp from 1995 to 1997. He held several hotel operations roles at Orient Hotel Group from 1994 to 1995.

Mr. Thomas Fisher has been the Co-President and Chief Investment Officer of the company since 2010. Prior to this, he served as the Managing Director of Americas of Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels. Mr. Fisher also served as an Associate with The Harlan Company from 1994 to 1996 and as the Real Estate Analyst in the Prudential Realty Group.
