Petroleos Mexicanos: Executives

Ms. Norma Rocio Nahle Garcia has been the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the company since 2018. She also serves as Secretary of Energy of Mexico. Ms. Garcia also serves as Chairperson of CFE; Chairperson of the Centro Nacional de Control de Energia; Chairperson of CENAGAS; Chairperson of the Instituto Nacional de Investigaciones Nucleares; Chairperson of Instituto Nacional de Electricidad y Energias Limpias; Chairperson of the Instituto Mexicano del Petroleo; and Fondo Mexicano del Petroleo.

Mr. Ulises Hernandez Romano has been the Chief Executive Officer of the company since 2019. Prior to this, he served as the Acting Director of Resources, Reserves and Partnerships for Pemex Exploracion y Produccion (Pemex Exploration and Production), as well as Deputy Director of Geo-Sciences and Technical Assurance (in 2017), Deputy Director of Portfolio Management and Access to New Regions (2015), Field Geology Manager in the Villahermosa exploration area in the State of Tabasco (2014), and Manager of the Onshore South-Eastern Basin Exploration Asset (2013).

Mr. Alberto Velazquez Garcia has been the Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Director of Finance of Pemex since 2018. He served as the Director of Projects and Public Finance of Grupo Financiero Banorte, S.A.B. de C.V; Independent Consultant for Financing Structuring and Investment Projects; and Director of Public Policy Analysis of Consultora EF&I.
