Petropavlovsk PLC (Petropavlovsk) is a mining company, involved in the exploration development, mining and processing of gold. Pioneer is a hard rock, underground and open-pit gold mine. It located in 40km north of Pokrovskiy. The mine contains both refractory and non-refractory ore Equipped with a heap-leach facility where low-grade material is processed Characterized by low sulphidation epithermal mineralized systems. It has five licenses covering a total gold license area, 1,337 square kilometres valid until 2024-2040. The mines flotation capacity is 3.6Mtpa, and mine life about 16 years. The Company’s Malomir mine is a hard-rock, open-pit gold mine, located in 670km northeast by road of Pokrovskiy (location of POX Hub) and 166km from railhead (Fevralsk). Comprises orebodies such as Ozhidaemoye, Quartzitovoye and Magnetitovoye. Includes combined licence area of 74.5 square kilometres. Aims to increase the capacity of the Malomir flotation unit to 5.4 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa). Albyn mine of the company is a hard-rock, open-pit gold mine, located on the Mongolo-Okhotskiy thrust zone, within the belt of mineralization associated with the collision of the Eurasian and Amur plates. Covers three licenses open down-dip orebodies such as Albyn, Elginskoye, Unglichikan, and Afanasevskoye. Includes a combined total gold license area of 1,053 square kilometres. The company’s Pokrovskiy POX Hub is a gold and sulphide mine, located in 450km by federal highway from the regional capital Blagoveshchensk and 10 km from the Trans siberial railways. The capacity is about 500kt p.a. The company has an operational presence in the UK, Russia, Hong Kong, and China.
