Mr. Nicholas Stephen Leland Lyons has been the Chairman of the group since December 2023. Prior to this, he held various roles at Morgan Guaranty Trust Company of New York UK, Salomon Brothers, and Lehman Brothers International Limited, where he was a Managing Director and Co-Head of their European Financial Institutions Group. He has extensive Non-Executive Director experience, including Chairman at Miller Insurance Services LLP and Senior Independent Director at Pension Insurance Corporation plc.

Mr. Andrew David Briggs has been the Chief Executive Officer and Director of the group since March 2020. Previously, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of UK Insurance and Global Life and Health at Aviva plc, Chief Executive Officer at Friends Life Group Limited, Managing Director at Scottish Widows, and Chief Executive Officer of the Retirement Income Division at Prudential plc.

Ms. Jackie Noakes has been the Chief Operating Officer of the group since 2022. Previously, she served as the Group Chief Operating Officer at the Bank of Ireland in Dublin. Earlier, she served as the Chief Executive Officer of Mature Savings and Group and IT Shared Services Director at Legal & General and IT Vice President of American Express Bank Business Solution Delivery services.

Ms. Sara Thompson is the Chief People Officer of the group. Previously, she served as a Director at Aviva plc and held positions at Barclays and Royal Sun Alliance. Earlier, she ran her own consultancy and worked in various large multinationals. Ms. Thompson began her career in IT and telecoms companies and has extensive international experience across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, and the US.

Ms. Vanessa Swanton has been the Chief Audit Officer of the group since 2025. Previously, she served as the Chief Audit Officer at TSB Bank plc. Earlier, she held the position of Chief Internal Auditor at Liverpool Victoria Financial Services Limited. Ms. Swanton has also worked in management consultancy at the firms Ernst & Young LLP and KPMG LLP and served in various roles across the Lloyds Bank Group plc.
