Mr. Richard L. Carrion has been the Chairman of Popular since 1993 and Executive Chairman from July 2017 to July 2019. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Popular from 1994 to June 2017 and President from 1991 to January 2009 and from May 2010 to September 2014. He was an Executive Chairman of BPPR from July 2017 to July 2019, Chairman since 1993 and the Chief Executive Officer from 1989 to June 2017. He was a President of BPPR from 1985 to 2004 and from May 2010 to September 2014 as well as an Executive Chairman of Popular Bank from July 2017 to July 2019 and Chairman since 1998. Previously, he served as the Chairman of Popular North America, Inc. and other direct and indirect wholly-owned subsidiaries of Popular and the Chief Executive Officer until 2017. He was a Director of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York from January 2008 to December 2015 and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Fundación Banco Popular, Inc. since 1991.

Mr. Javier D. Ferrer has been the President, Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company since 2025. Previously, he served as President of Popular, BPPR and Popular Bank and Chief Operating Officer of Popular and BPPR. He has served as Director of BPPR since 2015 and Director of Popular Bank since 2024. He also served as Secretary of the Board of Directors of Popular and its banking subsidiaries from 2014 to 2024. Mr. Ferrer was Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel of Popular from 2014 to 2021. Prior to joining Popular, he was a Partner at a law firm from 1992 to 2012 and from 2013 to 2014, and served as President of the Government Development Bank for Puerto Rico in 2013.

Mr. Jose R. Coleman Tio has been the Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and General Counsel of the company since February 2022. He also serves as Corporate Secretary of the company. Prior to this, he served as Deputy General Counsel and Senior Vice President from February 2017 to December 2021. Previously, he held various roles at the Government Development Bank for Puerto Rico from January 2013 to May 2016 including General Counsel and Executive Vice President.

Mr. Lidio V. Soriano has been the Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer of the company since August 2011. He also serves as a Director of Popular Bank since 2014. He is also a director at the Puerto Rican League against Cancer 2018. Previously, he served as a Director of the company between October 2014 and September 2019.

Ms. Maria Cristina Gonzalez-Noguera has been the Chief Communications and Public Affairs Officer and Executive Vice President of Popular since April 2021. Currently, she serves as a Director at Univision Communications Inc since November 2020. She served as a Director of Unidos US from 2016 to 2022. Prior to this, she served as the Senior Vice President of Global Public Affairs of The Estée Lauder Companies, Inc. between July 2016 and March 2021. She also served as the Director of Communication to First Lady Michelle Obama and Special Assistant to President Barack Obama from July 2013 to May 2015.
