Proto Labs Inc: Executives

Mr. Rainer Gawlick has been the Chairman of the company. He served as a Director of the company since 2008. Previously, Mr. Gawlick held executive sales and marketing positions at a broad range of technology companies including AspenTech, Lightship Telecom, SolidWorks, Sophos, and Intralinks, where he was EVP of WW Sales. He served as the President of Perfecto Mobile.

Mr. Suresh Krishna has been the Director, President, and Chief Executive Officer of the company since May 2025. Previously, he was the President and Chief Executive Officer at Northern Tool + Equipment. Prior to this, he worked at Sleep Number Corporation, Polaris Industries, and UTC Fire & Security.

Mr. Daniel Schumacher has been the Chief Financial Officer of the company since June 2022. Prior to this, he served as an Interim Chief Financial Officer of the company from 2021 to 20222. Mr. Schumacher joined Protolabs in 2017. Previously, he served as the Vice President of Investor Relations and Global Financial Planning and Analysis of the company. Prior to joining Protolabs, Mr. Schumacher served as Finance Director at Stratasys from 2015 to 2017. From 2006 to 2015, Mr. Schumacher held various financial leadership roles at Rockwell Automation.

Mr. Marc Kermisch has been the Chief Technology and AI Officer of the company since 2025. Previously, he served as Chief Technology Officer for Emergent Software. He served as Global Chief Digital and Information Officer at Case New Holland. He also held leadership positions at Optum Rx, Bluestem Brands, and Red Wing Shoe Company. He serves on the Board of Directors at American AgCredit and Crew Carwash.

Mr. Bernardo Parlange has been the Chief Commercial Officer since May 2026. Prior to this, he served as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Fortrex.
