He served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of L-1 Identity Solutions, Inc. from August 2006 to August 2011. From April 1997 to April 2005, Mr. LaPenta served as President, Chief Financial Officer, and director of L-3 Communications Holding, a company he co-founded in April 1997.
