Mr. Michael Balmuth has been the Chairman of the company since September 2023. Previously, he served as the Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company for 18 years from 1996 to 2014. Prior to this, Mr. Balmuth also held various positions of the company including Executive Vice President of Merchandising from 1993 to 1996 and Senior Vice President and General Merchandise Manager from 1989 to 1993.

Ms. Barbara Rentler has been the Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman of the company since 2021. Prior to this, she served as the President and Chief Merchandising Officer of Ross Dress for Less from 2009 to 2014. Previously, she served as an Executive Vice President of Merchandising of the company from 2006 to 2009. Ms. Rentler also served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer from 2005 to 2006 and Senior Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer from 2004 to 2005 at dd's DISCOUNTS. She joined the company in 1986.

Mr. Michael J. Hartshorn has been the Chief Operating Officer, Director and President of the company since 2021. Prior to this, he served as an Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the company from 2018 to 2019. Previously, he served the company as the Group Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 2015 to 2018; Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 2014 to 2015 and the Senior Vice President and Deputy Chief Financial Officer from 2012 to 2014. He also worked as the Group Vice President of Finance and Treasurer from 2011 to 2012, and Vice President of Finance and Treasurer at the company from 2006 to 2011. He joined the company in 2000 as a Director and Assistant Controller. Earlier, Mr. Hartshorn held several management roles in the Ross IT and supply chain organizations and held various financial roles at The May Department Stores Company.

Mr. Adam Orvos has been the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the company since 2021. Previously, he served as the Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Administration of the company. Prior to this, he served as the Senior Vice President of Retail Finance and Global Financial Planning and Analysis at Lowe’s from 2019 to 2020. He also served as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Neiman Marcus from 2018 to 2019; and Executive Vice President of Retail and Chief Executive Officer at Total Wine & More from 2016 to 2017. Prior to this, Mr. Orvos held several senior management positions including Chief Financial Officer at Belk Department Stores from 2006 to 2016. He also worked for The May Department Stores Company and held various financial roles including Chief Financial Officer of Foley’s division.

Mr. Michael Kobayashi has been the President and Chief Capability Officer of the company since 2022. Previously, he served as the President of Operations and Technology from 2019 to 2022. Prior to this, Mr. Kobayashi served as the Executive Vice President of Supply Chain, Merchant Operations, and Technology from 2014 to 2019 and Executive Vice President of Supply Chain, Allocation, and Chief Information Officer from 2010 to 2014. He also served as the Group Senior Vice President of Supply Chain and Chief Information Officer from 2008 to 2010, and Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer from 2004 to 2008 at the company. Before that, he was a Partner with Accenture, providing consulting services to clients in Accenture’s Retail & Consumer Goods practice.
