Mr. Timothy Ryan Jr has been the Chairman of the company since December 2014. He is also serves a Director of Great West LifeCo Inc., Power Corp. of Canada and Power Financial Company. He served as a Director of Markit Ltd. in 2014, and at Lloyds Banking Group from 2009 to 2013. He was the Vice Chairman of Regulatory Affairs at JP Morgan Chase & Co during 2014, the Global Head of Regulatory Strategy and Policy from 2013 to 2014, and President and Chief Executive Officer of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association and Chief Executive Officer of the Global Financial Markets Association, SIFMA's global affiliate, from 2008 to 2012. Prior to 2008, Mr. Ryan was the Vice Chairman of Financial Institutions and Governments at JP Morgan Chase in 1993.

Mr. Javier Maldonado has been the Vice Chairman of the company since October 2015. Previously, he also served as Group Real Estate Assets and Global Head Strategic Projects at Banco Santander SA. He had various roles at Santander including Global Head of Cost Control, Senior Executive Vice President, Head of the General Directorate in Risks Division, Head of Internal Control and Corporate Development. Previously, he was Director at Alawwal Bank.

Ms. Christiana Riley has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of the company since 2025. Prior to this, she served as the Regional Head of North America of the company. Previously, she worked as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of the Corporate and Investment Bank, and Chief Executive Officer of the Americas at Deutsche Bank.

Mr. Juan Carlos Alvarez de Soto has been the Chief Financial Officer of SHUSA since September 2019. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Financial Officer for Santander Consumer USA and Corporate Treasurer for Santander Holdings USA Inc. (SHUSA). He also served as a Senior Vice President and Head of Treasury and Investments for Santander’s International Private Banking at Banco Santander International and Banco Santander Suisse. Earlier, Mr. Soto served as part of the Treasury team for Inter-American Development Bank in Washington, DC and for FIMAT (Societe Generale’s group) in Spain.

Mr. Pablo Del Campo is the Chief Strategy Officer of the company. Prior to this, he served as the Head of Strategy & Performance Management for North America of the company. Previously, he led Finance & Strategy for Santander Spain and Europe. Earlier, he also served as the Head of the Executive Chairman’s Office. He also serves as a member of Openbank Mexico Board of Directors.
