Mr. Khalid Hashim Al-Dabbagh is the Chairman of SABIC. Prior to this, he held a number of senior roles in Saudi Aramco, including Senior Vice President, Finance Strategy & Development, Financial Controller, and Treasurer. Previously, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Saudi Petroleum International, Inc. (US) and the Managing Director of Saudi Petroleum Company in Tokyo, Japan. Currently, he serves as the Senior Vice President of Finance Strategy & Development in Saudi Aramco Oil Company and the Director of Wisayah Global Investment Company.

Mr. Al-Fageeh has been the Chief Executive Officer and Director of the company since March 2023. Prior to this, he served as an Acting Chief Executive Officer of the company from September 2022 to February 2023. Mr. Al-Fageeh also served as the Executive Vice President of Petrochemicals at SABIC, Executive Vice President of the erstwhile Performance Chemicals strategic business unit. He also holds the post of Chairman of three SABIC manufacturing affiliates, National Methanol Company (IBN SINA), Saudi Japanese Acrylonitrile Company (SHROUQ) and Saudi Arabian Methacrylate Company (SAMAC). Mr. Al-Fageeh has held several key posts within SABIC before his current assignment and has also held various leadership positions at SABIC affiliates. He joined SABIC in 1985 as a Project Engineer.
