Mr. Chua Chee Wui has been the Group Chief Financial Officer and Director at the company since 2022 and is its Group Chief Investment Officer since 2019. Previously, he served as the Head of Investments at Singbridge. Prior to that, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Keppel Integrated Engineering, where he structured and listed the world’s first green trust on the Singapore Exchange. He also held the position of Executive Director of several Keppel Investment funds.

Ms. Kuok Hui Kwong has been the Chairwoman of the company since 2017. She also serves as the Group Chief Executive Officer at the company. Previously, she served as the Deputy Chairman of Shangri-La Asia Limited in 2016 and joined the Board of Directors in 2014. Prior to this, Ms. Kuok was the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of South China Morning Post Group Limited. She also held the position of Director at The Post Publishing Public Company Limited.

Mr. Chris Tung has been the Group Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Executive Officer of China at the company since 2025. Previously, he served as the President of Alibaba Group. Prior to this, he held positions at VML China, Proctor & Gamble, GigaMedia, and L’Oreal.

Mr. Phong Siew San Christopher has been the Group Head of Investment and Asset Management at the company since 2024. Previously, he served in senior business development positions across various sectors including investment, banking, infrastructure, and construction. He led multi-billion-dollar investments in urban infrastructure, power, and agri-infrastructure development projects in South and Southeast Asia. He also managed critical acquisitions of assets in previous organisations.

Mr. Sunny Paw is Group Chief Operating Officer at the company. Previously, he served as the Vice President of Operations, overseeing various hotel operations across multiple regions. Prior to this, he held the position of Director of Hotel Operations, managing properties in China, the United States of America, and Singapore. Mr. Paw joined Shangri-La in 1994, bringing a wealth of experience and deep knowledge about the nuances and diversity of China’s hospitality landscape.
