Mr. Marcus Wallenberg has been the Chairman of SEB since 2005. He also serves as the Chairman of Saab AB and FAM AB, and Director of Investor AB, AstraZeneca PLC, and Temasek Holdings Ltd. Previously, he served as the President and Group Chief Executive of Investor AB, and Executive Vice President at Investor AB. He also worked with Citibank in New York, Deutsche Bank in Germany, S G Warburg Co in London and Citicorp in Hong Kong.

Mr. Johan Torgeby has been the Chief Executive Officer, President, and Director of the bank since March 2017. Prior to this, he served as a Co-Head of the Merchant Banking Division in the bank from 2014 to 2017. He also served as the Head of Legal Corporate and Client Relationship Management in the bank from 2009 to 2014. Previously, he served as an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley from 2000 to 2009. Earlier, he served as a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager and Economist at Swedbank Robur from 1997 to 2000.

Mr. Mats Torstendahl has been the Chief Executive, Deputy President, Group FCP Senior Manager of the bank since 2021.

Mr. Mats Holmstrom has been the Chief Risk Officer of the bank since May 2021. Prior to this, he served as Head of Corporate Banking Department in the Large Corporates & Financial Institutions division from 2017 to 2021. Previously, he served as Head of Project and Asset and Structured Finance of the bank.

Mr. Jens Magnusson has been the Chief Economist of the bank since April 2021.Currently, he serves as the Head of Personal Finance of the bank since 2013. Previously, he served as the Head of Strategic Research and Head of Investment Strategy and Savings Communication at SEB Life. Formerly, he served as the Deputy Director at the Ministry of Finance from 2002 to 2005.
