Societatea Nationala Nuclearelectrica SA (SNN) is a state-owned power-generating company. It is primarily focused on electricity generation, with its main product being electric power produced using nuclear technology. SNN is the only company producing electricity based on nuclear technology in Romania. The company also produces nuclear fuel bundles, CANDU type that are used in the operation of its nuclear reactors. It operates two plants namely, Cernavoda nuclear power plant and nuclear fuel plant in Pitesti. SNN Cernavoda nuclear power plant offers hot water to the Cernavoda community for district heating. The company also focuses on investment-development activities. SNN is headquartered in Bucharest, Romania
