Mr. Christopher J. Schaber has been the Chairman, the President and the Chief Executive Officer of the company since 2009. Previously, he also served as the member of board of directors for the Alliance for BioSecurity and BioNJ since October 2014 and January 2009 respectively, and has been a member of the corporate councils for both the National Organization for Rare Diseases (NORD) since October 2009 and the American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (ASBMT) since July 2009. Prior to joining the company, he served as the Chief Operating Officer and the Executive Vice President of Discovery Laboratories, Inc. from 1998 to 2006. He is a Co-Founder of Acute Therapeutics, Inc., and served as its Vice President of regulatory compliance and drug development during 1996-1998. He also served as the Worldwide Director of Regulatory Affairs and Operations for Ohmeda PPD, Inc., from 1994 to 1996. Prior to this, he served in many roles at Elkins-Sinn Inc., and Liposome Company, Inc from 1989 to 1994.

Mr. Jonathan Guarino has been the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Vice President and the Secretary of the company since September 2019. Prior to this, he served as the Corporate Controller for Hepion Pharmaceuticals Inc and Suite K Value Added Services LLC. Previously, he also served as the Senior Manager of technical accounting for Covance Inc.

Mr. Richard C. Straube has been the Senior Vice President and the Chief Medical Officer of the company since 2014. Previously, he served at Stealth Peptides Incorporated as the Chief Medical Officer since 2009. From 2007 to 2009, he served at Critical Biologics Corporation as the Chief Medical Officer. From 1998 to 2007, he served as the Chief Scientific Officer and the Vice President, Research and Development of INO Therapeutics LLC. During 1998 to 1993, he served in many roles and most recently as the Senior Director for Infectious Diseases and Immunology, Clinical Research at Centocor, Inc. Mr. Straube also served at Ohmeda Corp as the Director, Clinical Investigations of the Pharmaceutical Products Division from 1995 to 1997. From 1993 to 1995,he served as the Director of Medical Affairs for T-cell Sciences, Inc.

Mr. Oreola Donini has been the Senior Vice President and the Chief Scientific Officer of the company since 2014. Prior to this, he served as the Vice President, Preclinical Research and Development of the company. Previously, he also served at ESSA Pharma Inc., Inimex Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Kinetek Pharmaceuticals Inc., in developing novel therapies for infectious disease, cancer and cancer supportive care.
