Mr. John C. Corbett is the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and Director of the company. He joined SouthState in 2020. He also serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the bank. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Executive Officer and Director of CenterState Bank Corporation and its bank subsidiary. He is a co-founder of CenterState and started his career in 1999 as Chief Credit Officer and promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer in 2003. Previously, he served as the Vice President of Commercial Banking for First Union National Bank of Florida.

Mr. William E. Matthews V has been the Chief Financial Officer of SSC since 2020. He also serves as a Senior Executive Vice President of the company. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of CenterState Bank Corporation and its bank subsidiary. He also served as President and Chief Financial Officer of National Commerce Corporation and its subsidiary bank, National Bank of Commerce as well as served as Vice Chairman and Director of NCOM and NBC.

Ms. Renee R. Brooks has been the Chief Operating Officer of the company since 2018. She has been the Chief Operating Officer of the bank since 2020. Prior to this, she served in various roles including Commercial Banking Manager, Head of Retail Banking, Corporate Secretary, Chief Risk Officer from 2016 to 2017 and Chief Administrative Officer from 2012 to 2017. She has been into the bank since 1996.

Mr. Stephen D. Young has been the Chief Strategy Officer of the company since 2020. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of CenterState Bank Corporation and its bank subsidiary. In 2002, he joined CenterState as Senior Vice President and Treasurer of CenterState Holding Company as well as an Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of CenterState Bank of Florida, N.A. Previously, he served as a Senior Auditor at Deloitte & Touche LLP.

Mr. Richard Murray IV has been the President of the company since 2020. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of CenterState Bank and Director of CenterState Bank Corporation and its bank subsidiary. Prior to this, he served as the Chairman of National Commerce Corporation, and as its Chief Executive Officer, and President. He was also the President of National Bank of Commerce. He served as the Chief Operating Officer of NCOM and the Chief Operating Officer of NBC. Previously, he served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Alabama National Bancorporation from 2000 to 2008, and Regional President (Alabama and Florida) of RBC Bank (USA) from February 2008 to July 2009. He started his career at SouthTrust Bank in 1984.
