Southern Copper Corp (SCC), a subsidiary of Americas Mining Corp, is a mining company. Its major products include copper, zinc, molybdenum and silver. SCC operates mining, smelting, and refining facilities in Peru and Mexico and conducts exploration activities in Argentina, Chile, and Ecuador. The company conducts mining, milling and flotation of copper ore and produces copper concentrates and molybdenum concentrates; smelts copper concentrates to produce blister and anode copper; and refines anode copper to produce copper cathodes. It also produces silver, gold, and other materials through its precious metals plant at the Ilo refinery. SCC is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, the US
