STAAR Surgical Co: Executives

Ms. Deborah Andrews has been the Interim Co-Chief Executive Officer of the company since February 2026. She also serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the company since 2025. Previously, she served as the Chief Financial Officer from 2007 to 2013 and from 2017 to 2020.

Mr. Warren Foust has been the Interim Co-Chief Executive Officer of the company since February 2026. He also serves as the Chief Operating Officer and President of the company since 2025. Prior to this, he served as the Worldwide President, Johnson & Johnson Vision, Surgical, since December 2019. Previously, he served as the Worldwide President at Mentor.

Ms. Nancy Sabin has been the Chief Marketing Officer of the company since May 2024. Previously, she served as Vice President of Marketing and Connected Commerce for J&J Vision managing based marketing, digital strategy, and connected commerce functions for the ACUVUE contact lens business in the US. Ms. Sabin also held marketing roles across J&J Consumer and J&J MedTech.

Mr. Scott D Barnes has been the Chief Medical Officer of the company since October 2017. He served as the Chief of Ophthalmology Services for Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He joined Womack in 2004 as Chief of Ophthalmology and Refractive Surgery Center and served as a theater ophthalmology consultant in Iraq and Afghanistan. Earlier, he was the Chief of Refractive Surgery at Womack.

Ms. Magda Michna has been the Chief Development Officer of the company since 2025. Previously, he served as the Chief Clinical, Regulatory and Medical Affairs Officer of the company since March 2023. Prior to this, Ms. Michna served as the Chief Global Clinical, Medical and Regulatory Affairs Officer since April 2018 at AcuFocus, Inc. She also served as the served as the Chief Clinical Officer at Presbia.
