Mr. Jose Vinals has been the Chairman of the company since 2016. Prior to this, he served at International Monetary Fund as a Financial Counsellor and Director of the Monetary and Capital Markets Department. Previously, he spent 25 years at Central Bank of Spain and held several leadership roles including Deputy Governor. He also held many advisory positions including the Chair of Spain’s Deposit Guarantee Fund, Chair of the International Relations Committee at the European Central Bank, and Chair of the Working Group on Institutional Investors at the company for International Settlements. He started his career as an Economist.

Mr. Bill Winters has been the Chief Executive Officer and Director of the company since June 2015. He also serves as a Director of Novartis International AG. Previously, he served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Renshaw Bay from 2011 to 2015. He also served as a Director of Pension Insurance Corporation plc and RIT Capital Partners plc. Earlier, he worked with JP Morgan in various senior level positions, including Co-Chief Executive Officer-Investment Bank from 2004 to 2009.

Mr. Diego De Giorgi has been the Group Chief Financial Officer of the company since January 2024. He also serves as a Director of the company. Prior to this, he served as the Co-chief Executive Officer at Pegasus. Previously, he served as the Chief Operating Officer at Goldman Sachs. Earlier he served at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and UniCredit.

Ms. Mary Huen has been Cluster Chief Executive Officer of Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau. She also serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Hong Kong since 2017. Prior to this, she served as Regional Head of Retail Banking, Greater China and North Asia, and the Head of Retail Banking, Hong Kong. She also serves as a board member of Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited and Chairperson of Standard Chartered Bank (Taiwan) Limited.

Ms. Tanuj Kapilashrami has been the Chief Strategy & Talent Officer of the company from April 2024. She also serves as the company's Group Head of Human Resources since 2019 and Director of Sainsbury’s PLC, and Autumn.
