Business Description
Stanmore Resources Ltd (Stanmore Resources) explores and develops thermal, coking and PCI coal deposits in Eastern Australia. The company owns and operates eight projects, which are in the Bowen and Surat Basins of Queensland. These projects include the Range, Isaac Plains South, Wards Well, Isaac Plains Underground, Belview, Mackenzie, Lilyvale and Clifford. Isaac South is an unexplored open-cut resource prospect that is situated immediately south of the Isaac Downs mine, on the southern side of the Isaac River. Isaac Plains Underground is an authorized underground mine project which involves in exploration and production of coking and thermal coals. The produced coal is sold to Japanese, Korean and Taiwanese steel makers.
