Starwood Property Trust Inc: Executives

Mr. Barry Stuart Sternlicht has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company since 2009. He also serves as the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Starwood Capital Group and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Starwood Capital Group Management, LLC. Prior to this, he served as the Chairman of Starwood Credit Real Estate Income Trust, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Starwood Hotels, Chairman of Jaws Mustang Acquisition Corporation and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc from 1995 to 2005.

Ms. Rina Paniry has been the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Accounting Officer and Treasurer of the company since 2014. Prior to this, she served as the Chief Accounting Officer from 2006 to 2013 and Chief Financial Officer in 2014 at LNR Property LLC. She also served at Deloitte and Touche for about 11 years across the real estate industry.

Mr. Heather N. Bennett has been the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of the company Prior to this, he served as the General Counsel of the Real Estate Investing & Servicing segment of the company. Mr. Bennett also served as the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer of the company.

Mr. Andrew Kail has been the Managing Director in Residential Lending of the company in 2022. Previously, he served as the Director at Aspen Capital. He served in many roles including Managing Director at New Residential Investment Corp. and Royal Bank of Scotland and Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns.

Mr. Lorcain Egan has been the Managing Director and Co-Head of Europe of the company. Previously, he served as the Vice President at Barclays Bank.
