Mr. Jose Maria Alvarez-Pallete Lopez has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company since 2016. Prior to this, he served as a Director and the Chief Operating Officer of the company since 2012 to 2016. Previously, he served as the Chairman of Telefonica Europe from 2011 to 2012. Mr. Lopez also served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Telefonica Internacional, S.A.; General Manager of Telefonica Latin America, and the Chairman of Telefonica Latin America. Currently, he serves as the Chairman of Telefonica Internacional S.A.U. and of the Supervisory Board of Brasilcel, N.V and Cesky Telecom and the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Telesp, S.A. and Telefonica Moviles Mexico, S.A.

Mr. Angel Vila Boix has been the Chief Operating Officer and a Director of the company since October 2017. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Financial and Strategy Officer of the company since 2015. Previously, he held various positions at the company including Group Controller, Chief Financial Officer of Telefonica International, S.A.U. Group Head of Corporate Development and Chief Financial and Corporate Development Officer. He also worked at Citigroup, McKinsey & Co, Ferrovial and Planeta.

Ms. Marta Machicot has been the Chief People Officer of the company since 2018. Prior to this, she served as a Director of Human Resources of Telefonica’s Global Units and as a Director of Talent Management at Telefonica Spain. Earlier she served as the Director of Human Resources Director at Telefonica DataCorp and the Director of Development of Corporate Human Resources.

Ms. Laura Abasolo Garcia de Baquedano has been the Chief Financial and Control Officer and Head of T. Hispam of the company since 2017. Previously she served as the Chief of the Procurement and Supply Chain division and the Corporate Development division of the company from February 2020 to September 2021. Prior to this, she served as Planning, Budgets and Management Control Officer from 2007 to 2014 and Management Control Officer at Telefonica, S.A from 2005 to 2007. Earlier she served as the Management Control Officer at Terra Networks, S.A. from 1999 to 2005. Ms. Baquedano had joined Telefonica, SA in 1999.

Ms. Maria Garcia Legaz has been the Chief Staff of the company since 2012. Prior to this, she served as Head of Investor Relations at Telefonica S.A from 2008 to 2012 and Head of Investor Relations of Telefonica Moviles from 2000 to 2006.
