Tethys Petroleum Ltd (Tethys) is an independent oil and gas exploration and production company. It focuses on projects in Central Asia and the Caspian Region. The company has a portfolio of assets, including existing oil and gas production, frontier high-impact exploration and unconventional resources in Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Georgia. In Kazakhstan, it has produced oil and gas fields and exploration blocks in the North Ustyurt basin to the west of the Aral Sea. It operates through wholly owned subsidiaries such as TethysAralGas LLP and Kul-Bas LLP. In Georgia, the company has non-operated interests in Blocks XIm and XIn in the Kura Basin. Tethys is headquartered in George Town, Cayman Islands, the UK.
