Mr. Aaron W Regent is the Chairman of the bank since 2013. Prior to this, he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Barrick Gold Corp from 2009 to 2012. Previously, Mr. Regent served as Senior Managing Partner of Brookfield Asset Management, as the Co-Chief Executive Officer of the Brookfield Infrastructure Group, and as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Falconbridge Ltd.

Mr. Glen Gowland has been the Vice Chairman of the company since January 2024. Prior to this, he served as a Group Head of Global Wealth Management of the company.

Mr. Scott Thomson has been the Chief Executive Officer of the bank since February 2023. Currently, he also serves as the President and Director of the group since December 2022. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Executive Officer at Finning International Inc. Previously, he served as the Chief Financial Officer at Talisman Energy Inc. and as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development of Bell Canada. Earlier, Mr. Scott served as Vice President of Goldman Sachs.

Mr. Rajgopal Viswanathan has been the Chief Financial Officer and Group head at Scotia Bank since 2019. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of the bank in 2018. Previously, he served as the Chief Accountant and Senior Vice President of the bank.

Mr. Phil Thomas has been the Group Head of the company. He also serves as the Chief Risk Officer of the bank since October 2021. Prior to this, he served as the Executive Vice President of Customer Insights, Data & Analytics at the bank.
