Mr. Walter W. Bettinger II has been the Co Chairman of the company since July 2022. He also serves as a Chief Executive Officer, and a Director of the company since 2008. He also serves on the Board of Directors at Charles Schwab & Co. and Charles Schwab Bank. He is the Chairman and a Trustee at The Charles Schwab Family of Funds, Schwab Investments, Schwab Capital Trust, Schwab Annuity Portfolios, Laudus Trust, Laudus Institutional Trust, and Schwab Strategic Trust, all registered investment companies. Previously, he served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of the company from 2007 to 2008. Prior to this, he served as the Executive Vice President and President of Schwab Investor Services from 2005 to 2007. Mr. Bettinger has been associated with the company since 1995.

Mr. Charles R. Schwab has been the Co-Chairman of Charles Schwab since 2022. He also serves as the Chairman of Charles Schwab Bank. Previously, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of the company from 1986 to 1997 and from 2004 to 2008. Prior to this, he served as a Co-Chief Executive Officer at the company from 1998 to 2003. Earlier, he founded Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. in 1971, has been its Chairman since 1978, and served as its Chief Executive Officer from 2004 to 2008. Earlier, Mr. Schwab served as the Chairman and a Trustee of The Charles Schwab Family of Funds, Schwab Investments, Schwab Capital Trust, Schwab Annuity Portfolios, Laudus Trust and Laudus Institutional Trust.

Mr. Peter B. Crawford has been the Managing Director since 2022 and Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of the company since 2017. Previously, he served as the senior vice president and Head of Schwab’s asset management client solutions organization. Earlier, he served as the Head of Product Management for Schwab Funds. Prior to this, he was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company and a Director of Business Development at Excite@Home.

Mr. Joseph R. Martinetto has been the Managing Director since 2022 and Chief Operating Officer of the company since 2018. He is also the Head of Technology Services, Digital Services, Operational Services, and the Schwab Affiliated Banks. Prior to this, he served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer from 2007 to 2017. He has joined the company in 1997 and held various positions including Senior Vice President, Treasurer, and Senior Vice President of Retail Finance. Previously, he served as the Senior Assistant Treasurer at Transamerica Corp. Earlier, Mr. Martinetto worked at First Interstate Bancorp.

Mr. Dennis Howard is the Chief Information Officer and Managing Director of the company. Previously, he served as the Senior Vice President of Core Technology Solutions at the company. Prior to this, he was the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Visa Inc. Mr. Howard served in Technology at Commerce One, Inc.
