The Macerich Co: Executives

Mr. Jackson Hsieh has been the Chief Executive Officer, Director, and President of the company since March 2024. Prior to this, he was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Spirit Realty Capital. Mr. Hsieh served as Managing Director and Vice Chairman of Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley. Earlier, he served as Vice Chairman and Sole/Co-Global Head of UBS’s Real Estate Investment Banking Group.

Mr. Scott W. Kingsmore has been Chief Financial Officer, Senior Executive Vice President and Treasurer of the company since January 2019. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President of Finance of the company from April 2004 to December 2018. He joined the company in 1996 as Vice President and Controller. Prior to this, he worked at Westfield America.

Mr. Christopher Zecchini has been the Chief Accounting Officer and Senior Vice President of the company. He joined the company in 1985.

Ms. Ann C Menard has been the Chief Legal Officer and Secretary of the company since March 2018. She has been the Senior Executive Vice Presidents since March 2020. Prior to joining the company, Ms. Menard served at the U.S. General Counsel and Managing Director at Tishman Speyer from 2005 to 2017. She was a Partner in the real estate and corporate finance departments at O’Melveny & Myers, LLP in their Los Angeles and Newport Beach offices.

Mr. William P. Voegele has been the Chief Development Officer and Executive Vice President of the company since September 2019. Prior to this, he served as the Senior Vice President of Development at Brookfield Asset Management from November 2018 to August 2019 and at Forest City Realty Trust’s Commercial Development Group, from September 1989 to October 2018.
