Mr. Richard Haythornthwaite has been the Chairman of the company since April 2024. Previously, he was the Chairman of Ocado Group. Prior to this, Mr. Haythornthwaite was the Chairman of Mastercard Inc., Xynteo, Railsr, Centrica plc, and Network Rail Limited.

Mr. Paul Thwaite has been the Chief Executive Officer and Director of the group since July 2023. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of the group’s Commercial and Institutional franchise between July 2022 and July 2023. Previously, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Commercial Banking division. He is also a Director of Pollinate Networks Limited.

Ms. Katie Murray has been a Director and Chief Financial Officer of the group since January 2019. She joined the group as the Director of Finance in 2015 and was appointed as Deputy Chief Financial Officer in March 2017. Previously, Ms. Murray held various roles at Old Mutual Emerging Markets from 2002 to 2015. Earlier, she worked at KPMG for 13 years. She holds about 30 years of experience in the finance and accounting field.

Ms. Jan Cargill has been the Chief Governance Officer, Director, and Secretary of the group since August 2019. Prior to this, she held various positions as Head of Board and Shareholder Services. Ms. Cargill holds more than 20 years of experience in the corporate governance field.

Mr. Scott Marcar has been the Chief Information Officer of the group since September 2022. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Information Officer at Deutsche and also served as the Head of Technology for Financial Crime, Chief Information Officer of the UK, and Chief Technology Officer. Previously, he served as the Chief Information Officer at RBS Markets.
