Mr. Gary A. Lyons has been the Chairman of the company since May 2016. Previously, he also served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Rigel Pharmaceuticals Inc and as a member of the Board of Directors at Vical Inc and Cytori Therapeutics. Prior to this, Mr. Lyons served as the President and the Chief Executive Officer of Neurocrine Biosciences from 1993 to 2008. Prior to joining Neurocrine, he held various senior management positions at Genentech Inc, including Vice President of Business Development and Vice President of Sales. Previously, Mr. Lyons was a director of PDL BioPharma Inc, Poniard Pharmaceuticals Inc, NeurogesX Inc, KaloBios Pharmaceuticals Inc, and Facet Biotech Corp.

Dr. Eric Dube has been the President, Director and the Chief Executive Officer of the company since 2019. Prior to this, he served as the President and Head of North America for ViiV Healthcare. He has led businesses in the United States, Europe and Japan, successfully launching and growing a range of innovative products, including therapies for orphan diseases.

Mr. Chris Cline has been the Chief Financial Officer of the company. Prior to this, He served as senior vice president, investor relations and corporate communications of the company.

Dr. Jula Inrig has been Chief Medical Officer of the company since January 2022. Prior to this, she served as Global Head of the Renal Center of Excellence at IQVIA. Before that, she served as the Medical Director, and as the Senior Medical Director. Dr. Inrig served on the board of directors for the Kidney Health Initiative since 2013.

Mr. Peter Heerma has been the Chief Commercial Officer of the company since 2019. Prior to this, he served as the Global Product General Manager for cardiovascular and oncology products at Amgen Inc. Previously, Mr. Heerma served in various roles at Abbott Laboratories.
