Mr. David Hartmann Higgins has been the Chairman of the company since 2020. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Executive Officer at Network Rail Limited, The Olympic Delivery Authority and English Partnerships. He also held non-executive roles which include Chairman of High Speed Two Limited and Sirius Minerals plc; and Director of Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Mr. Higgins also serves as the Chairman of Gatwick Airport Limited and Chairman of United Utilities Water Limited.

Ms. Louise Beardmore has been the Chief Executive Officer and Director of the company since March 2023. Prior to this, she was the Director of Customer Service and People. Ms. Beardmore also held varios senior positions related to business transformation, water operations, electricity and telecoms in the UK and overseas. she also serves as the Director of Water UK, and Water Plus Limited. She is also the Vice President of Institute of Customer Service.

Mr. Philip Anthony Aspin has been the Chief Financial Officer and Director of the company since July 2020. Prior to this, he served as the group controller. Previously, he worked as the group treasurer. He also served as a member of EFRAG TEG and chaired the EFRAG Rate Regulated Activities Working Group. Currently, he serves as the Chief Financial Officer of United Utilities Water Limited and a non-executive Director of Water Plus.

Mr. Matt Hemmings has been the Chief Operating Officer of the company since September 2024. Prior to this, he served as the Managing Director of fiber and network delivery for Openreach and Director of Great Places Housing Group Limited and Terra Nova Developments Limited. Mr. Hemmings also held principal roles within several sectors consisting of corporate banking, telecoms, and housing.
