Mr. Rainer Hald has been the Chief Technical Officer of the company since 2022. He also serves as the Managing Director VARTA Micro battery GmbH, VARTA Micro Production GmbH, VARTA Innovation GmbH, Managing Director, EMEA Consumer Batteries (Shenzhen) since 2020; Chief Technology Officer VARTA Microbattery since 2013. Mr. Hald also served as the Head of Application Department, Sales, Product management, Development from 2008 to 2012; Head of Production Lithium from 2003 to 2008; Development & Management of Lab from 2000 to 2002 at VARTA Microbattery GmbH and Development Engineer at DAM Messtechnik from 1997 to 2000.
