Ms. Debra A. Cafaro has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company since 2003. Prior to this, she served as the President of the company from 1999 to 2010. Ms. Cafaro serves as a Director of The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. Previously, she served as the Chairman of the Real Estate Roundtable, and the Economic Club of Chicago.

Mr. Robert F. Probst has been an Executive Vice President and the Chief Financial Officer of the company since 2014. Previously, he served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Beam Inc; the Vice President of Finance, Strategy and Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) for the Medication Delivery business division at Baxter International Inc; and the Chief Financial Officer of Global Supply. He also served as the Commercial Lending Officer at The Northern Trust Corp. Mr. Probst started his career at The Pillsbury Company.

Mr. Gregory R. Liebbe serves as the Chief Accounting Officer, Senior Vice President, and Controller of the company. Previously, he served as the Vice President of Accounting at the company from 2011 to 2015, the Director of Accounting in 2011, and the Manager of Accounting from 2007 until 2011.

Ms. Bhavana Devulapally serves as the Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of the company. Prior to this, she worked at Hyatt Hotels Corp. Ms. Devulapally served as a Governing Board Member of The Simple Good.

Mr. J. Justin Hutchens has been the Chief Investment Officer of the company since 2023. He also serves as the Executive Vice President of Senior Housing at the company. Prior to this, Mr, Hutchens served as the Chief Executive Officer of HC-One; the Chief Operating Officer of Emeritus; the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and President of National Health Investors; and the President and Chief Investment Officer of HCP.
