Dr. Robert L. Zerbe has been the Chairman of the company since October 2012. Prior to this, he was the Director of the company. Dr. Zerbe served as the Chief Executive Officer at QUATRx Pharmaceuticals Company. He held several senior executive management positions with major pharmaceutical companies including Eli Lilly and Pfizer. Currently, he serves on the board of directors of Cirius Therapeutics and Metabolic Solutions Development Company.

Mr. Dominick C. Colangelo has been the Chief Executive Officer, President and Director of the company since March 2013. Prior to this, he was the President and the Chief Executive Officer at Promedior, Inc. He held several executive positions of increasing responsibility in product development, pharmaceutical operations, sales and marketing, and corporate development. He served more than 10 years in Eli Lilly and Company, where, he held positions as the Director of Strategy and Business Development for Lilly’s Diabetes Product Group and also served as a founding Managing Director of Lilly Ventures.

Mr. Joe Mara has been the Chief Financial Officer of the company since 2021. Previously, he served as the Vice President, Finance and Head of Investor Relations at Biogen Inc. Prior to joining Biogen, Mr. Mara held finance and strategy roles in the financial services and technology industries, including at Thomson Reuters Corporation and Fidelity Investments.

Mr. Michael Halpin has been the Chief Operating Officer of the company since 2017. Prior to this, he was the Vice President, North America. Mr. Halpin also served as the Vice President, Regulatory Affairs for Genzyme’s biosurgery division. Prior to Genzyme, Mr. Halpin held a number of regulatory, quality and clinical affairs positions at several medical device companies, including Abbott/MediSense, C.R. Bard and Abiomed.

Dr. Jonathan Hopper has been the Chief Medical Officer of the company since August 2018. Prior to this, he served as the Senior Medical Director, Orthopedic Clinical Development at Ferring Pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining Ferring Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Hopper served in a number of senior medical roles including the Vice President, Global Medical Director at Stryker. He also served as the Senior Medical Officer for the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency.
