He also served as Vice President for Citgo Petroleum Corporation.

Mr. John Harrison has been serving as the Chief Financial Officer of the company since 2025. Previously, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Holly Energy Partners from 2020 to 2024. He also served at JPMorgan Chase & Co.

Mr. Alvaro Ruiz has been the Chief Strategy Officer of the company since 2022. He joined Vertex in 2013. Prior to Vertex, Mr. Ruiz held senior management positions throughout his 20 years of experience in the equipment manufacturing, telecom, energy, automotive, and environmental services industry sectors.

Mr. Joshua Foster has been the Chief Commercial Officer of the company. Previously, he served as Director of Commercial Optimization and Risk Management of the company. He also served as the Merrill Lynch Commodities, Delta Air Lines, EPIC Fuels and Veridian Fuels.
