Vietnam Enterprise Investments Limited (VEIL) is a closed-end investment fund. Its primary activities involve investing in publicly or privately issued securities of companies, projects, and enterprises associated with Vietnamese entities, both inside and outside Vietnam. The industries served by VEIL include consumer discretionary, information technology, financials, materials, real estate, and consumer staples. VEIL conducts its business operations through two business models, the Held-to-collect business model and Other business model. Under the Held-to-collect business model, VEIL includes balances due from brokers, cash and cash equivalents, and other receivables, which are held to collect contractual cash flows. Under the Other business model, it includes investments in subsidiaries and directly held investments.
