Vodafone Qatar QSC: Executives

Mr. H.E Abdullah Bin Nasser Al Misnad has been the Chairman of the company since July 2016. He also serves as the Chairman of Al Misnad LLC and Qatari Investors Group, and Vice Chairman of Al Khaliji Bank. He also served as the board member of Masraf Al Rayan.

Mr. Akbar Al Baker has been the Vice Chairman of the company since July 2016. He serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Tourism. He is a member of Board of Governors of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) since 2012. Previously, he served as the Chairman of IATA from 2018 to 2019. He serves as a member of the Executive Committee of the Arab Air Carriers Organization (AACO) since 2011. He served as the Chairman of AACO from 2013 to 2016.

Mr. Sheikh Hamad Bin Abdullah Jassim Al-Thani has been the Chief Executive Officer of the company since March 2018. He served in various positions at Vodafone Qatar including the Manager of Business Development, Head of Public Sector Sales and Director of Sales. Previously, Mr. Al-Thani worked in oil and gas sector in the areas such as control system engineering and industrial network engineering. He joined Vodafone Qatar in 2013.

Mr. Masroor Anjum has been the Chief Financial Officer of the company since 2021. Prior to this, he served as the Acting Chief Financial officer and Head of Financial Planning and Analysis and Head of Finance Business Partners at the company. Previously, he worked for PricwaterhouseCoopers in 2001. Mr. Anjum joined the company in 2014.

Mr. Baran Yurdagul served as the Chief Operating Officer of the company. Before joining Vodafone Qatar, he served as Vice President to the Consumer Business Unit at Omantel. Prior to that, he also served many leadership roles at Turk Telekom and Turkcell.
