Yum China Holdings Inc: Executives

Mr. Fred Hu has been the Chairman of the company since November 2016. He also serves as Director of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited, and UBS Group AG; Co-Director of the National Center for Economic Research; and Professor at Tsinghua University. He has been the Chairman and Founder of Primavera since 2011. Prior to Primavera, he held various roles at Goldman Sachs, including Partner and Chairman of Greater China. He served as an Economist at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington D.C. Previously, he serves as Director of Hang Seng Bank Limited.

Ms. Joey Wat has been the Chief Executive Officer of the company since March 2018 and its Director since July 2017. Prior to this, she served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of the company February 2017 to February 2018. She also served as the Chief Executive Officer of KFC China from October 2016 to February 2017; President of KFC China from September 2014 to July 2015. Previously, she served in various positions at A.S. Watson Group including as Managing Director of Watson Health & Beauty U.K. from 2012 to 2014, Head of Strategy for Europe, and Managing Director of Savers. Earlier, she served at McKinsey & Company’s Hong Kong office in management consulting from 2000 to 2003.

Mr. Andy Yeung has been the Chief Financial Officer of the company since October 2019. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Smart Finance International Limited from April 2017 to August 2019. During January 2014 to March 2017, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Cheetah Mobile. He also worked at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. as Director, Executive Director and then Managing Director from 2009 to 2013. Previously, he serves as an Associate in Equity Research at Thomas Weisel Partners from2004 to 2009.

: Ms. Leila Zhang has been the Chief Technology Officer of the company since March 2018. Prior to this, she served as the Vice President of Information Technology at the company from October 2016 to March 2018 and at Yum! Restaurants China from 2014 to October 2016. She joined the company in 1996. Previously, she was an Engineer with Inventec Electronics (Shanghai) from 1992 to 1996.

Mr. Joseph Chan has been the Chief Legal Officer of Yum China since June 2019. Prior to this, he was a Partner with Sidley Austin in Shanghai from November 2010 to May 2019. He spent more than 10 years at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman in San Francisco and Shanghai, including as the inaugural Managing Partner of its Shanghai Office from 2006 to 2010.
