AGNC Investment Corp: Executives

Mr. Gary D. Kain has been the Chairman of the company since July 2021. Previously, he served as Chief Executive Officer of the company from March 2016 to July 2021, and from 2009 to July 2021, he served as the Chief Investment Officer. He also served as the President of the company from 2011 to 2018. Mr. Kain was also the Senior Vice President of Investments and Capital Markets at Freddie Mac from 2008 to 2009. Mr. Kain served as Vice President of Mortgage Portfolio Strategy at Freddie Mac from 2001 to 2005. He served as a Director and Chief Executive Officer at MTGE Investment Corp. from 2016 to 2018 and as Chief Investment Officer from 2011 to 2018.

Mr. Peter J. Federico has been the Chief Investment Officer, Chief Executive Officer, President and Director of the company since 2025. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Operating Officer of the company from 2018 to 2021, as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 2016 to 2018, and as Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer from 2011 to 2016. Previously, Mr. Federico also served as Executive Vice President and Treasurer at Freddie Mac from 2010 to 2011.

Ms. Bernice E Bell has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of the company since 2022. Previously, Msshe.Bell served as the Chief Accounting Officer of the company from 2016 to 2018, Vice President from 2011 to 2016, and as Controller from 2008 to December 2015. Prior to this, she also served as the Vice President and Controller at American Capital, Ltd. from 2003 to 2009. Ms. Bell also served at Price Waterhouse, LLP from 1994 to 1998.

Mr. Chris Erhorn has been the Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of the company since 2017. Currently, he also serves as the Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Bethesda Securities, LLC. Prior to this, Mr. Erhorn served as the Chief Technology Officer at CRT Capital Group. Previously, he served as Vice President, Operations Technology Development in RBS Securities Inc.

Mr. Kenneth L Pollack has been the Chief Compliance Officer, Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary of the company since July 2022. Prior to this, he served as the Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at American Capital, Ltd. Mr. Pollack served as a member of the Corporate and Securities and Real Estate Practice Groups of Arnold & Porter.
