Arvind Ltd (Arvind) is primarily involved in the production and retail of textiles, advanced materials, and other products. The company also focuses on investments and initiatives in automation, vertical integration and innovation. It has an annual production capacity of over more than 60 million meters of denim fabrics, 80 million meters of garment pieces and 180 million meters of woven fabric.

Arvind has undertaken several R&D initiatives in the past year. The company has initiated the digitisation of end-to-end processes in its garmenting units for real-time data reading of the production process. It has also reoriented and aligned the process in its Human Protection garmenting division through Industrial engineering. The R&D units of Arvind Ltd are located in Naroda, Santej, Khatraj, and Pune. These world-class facilities are recognised and approved by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. These facilities consist of state-of-the-art equipment, such as Washing Lab of Denim and Micro Spinning Plant for faster development. These units help the company create futuristic products to maintain a competitive edge. In FY2025, the company incurred research and development expenditure of INR192 million which was 0.2% of the company’s total revenue.
