Atmos Energy Corp (Atmos Energy) is a distributor of regulated natural gas. It delivers natural gas through regulated sales and transportation arrangements to public authorities and industrial customers. It also delivers natural gas to residential and commercial consumers. The company is also involved in the pipeline and storage of natural gas transmission in Louisiana. It manages two asset management plans in Louisiana. Atmos Energy operates under non-exclusive franchise agreements granted by the various cities and towns in eight states in the US and manages proprietary pipeline and storage assets in Kentucky, and Tennessee. Atmos Energy has regulated utility activities in Colorado, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. Atmos Energy is headquartered in Dallas, Texas, the US.
