Mr. Kim R. Cocklin has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Atmos Energy since October 2017. Prior to this, he served as Chief Executive Officer of the company from October 2015 to September 2017. Mr. Cocklin also served as President and Chief Executive Officer from October 2010 to September 2015 and President and Chief Executive Officer from October 2008 to September 2010. He joined Atmos Energy in 2006, as Senior Vice President, Regulated Operations. Prior to joining the company. He served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Chief Compliance Officer for Piedmont Natural Gas Company.

Mr. Christopher T. Forsythe has been the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Atmos Energy since February 2017. Prior to this, he served as Vice President and Controller of the company from May 2009 through January 2017. Mr. Forsythe joined Atmos Energy in June 2003 and was appointed as Director, Financial Reporting, in September 2003. Prior to joining the company, he was a Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he served from 1993 to 2003.

Mr. Richard A. Mitschke has been the Chief Information Officer and Vice President of the company since 2023. Previously, he served as the Vice President of Customer Service from 2021 to 2023. Prior to this, he served as the Director of Customer Service Systems from 2012 to 2021. Earlier, Mr. Mitschke joined the company as the Director of IT Strategy and Planning in 2008.

Mr. Kevin Akers has been the President, Chief Executive Officer and Director since October 2019. Prior to this, he served as an Executive Vice President from November 2018 to October 2019. Previously he also served as Senior Vice President, Safety and Enterprise Services, from January 2017 to October 2018. Mr. Akers also served as president of the Kentucky/Mid-States Division from May 2007 to October 2016 and served as president of the Mississippi Division from 2002 to 2007.
