Mr. Scott L. Morris has been the Chairman of Avista since January 2018. Prior to this, he served as the President of the company from January 2008 to January 2018; Chief Operating Officer from May 2006 to December 2007; Chairman of its subsidiaries, including Chairman of the Ecova; and held various management positions in construction and customer service and general manager of its Oregon utility business. Mr. Morris also served as the Vice President from November 2000 to February 2002, and Senior Vice President; and took part in Spokane nonprofit and economic development Boards. Currently, he serves as the Director of the Washington Roundtable, Edison Electric Institute and McKinstry.

Mr. Dennis P. Vermillion has been the Chief Executive Officer, Director and President of Avista since October 2019. Prior to this, Mr. Vermillion served as the Senior Vice President of the company from January 2010 to January 2018, Vice President from July 2007 to December 2009, Vice President of Energy Resources and Optimization of Avista Utilities from July 2007 to December 2008; President and Chief Operating Officer of Avista Energy from February 2001 to July 2007; and held various other management and staff positions with the company.

Mr. Mark T. Thies has been the Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Executive Vice President of Avista since October 2019. Prior to this, he served as the Senior Vice President of the company from September 2008 to October 2019. Previously, Mr. Thies held various positions with Black Hills Corporation, including Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from March 2003 to January 2008, Senior Vice President from March 2000 to March 2003, and Controller May 1997 to March 2000.

Ms. Heather Rosentrater has been the President of the company since October 2023 and Chief Operating Officer of the company since September 2022. Previously she served as a Senior Vice President of the company. Prior to this, she served as the Senior Vice President, Energy Delivery and Shared Services of the company from January 2020 to September 2022; Senior Vice President of Energy Delivery from October 2019 to December 2019; Vice President of Energy Delivery from December 2015 to October 2019; and various other management and staff positions with the Company since 1996.

Mr. James M. Kensok has been the Vice President, Chief Information Officer and Chief Security Officer of Avista since January 2013. Prior to this, he served as the Vice President and Chief Information Officer from January 2007 to January 2013; Chief Information Officer from February 2001 to December 2006; various other management and staff positions with the Company since 1996.
