Mr. James C. Foster has been the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of the company since 2000. Prior to this, he served as the Vice President of Administration and General Counsel, President of Charles River Biotechnical Services and Executive Vice President of the company. Currently, he also serves as the Chairman of the Advisory Board at Tufts University, member of the Board of Trustees at the Institute of Contemporary Art and at DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park.

Ms. Flavia H. Pease has been the Executive Vice President of the company since April 2022. She also serves as the Chief Financial Office of the company since January 2022. Prior to this, she served as the Vice President and Group Chief Financial Officer at Johnson & Johnson’s global Medical Devices business.

Ms. Birgit Girshick has been the Chief Operating Officer and Corporate Executive Vice President of the company since 2021. Prior to this, she served as the Corporate Executive Vice President of Discovery, Safety Assessment, Biologics and Avian Services of the company. Ms. Birgit also served as the Corporate Senior Vice President, Global Discovery Services of the company.

Mr. Michael G. Knell has been the Chief Accounting Officer and Senior Vice President of the company since 2017. Prior to this, he was the Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President of Finance at Bruker Corporation. Mr. Knell also served in various roles including Partner - Assurance Services at Ernst & Young LLP.

Mr. John C. Ho has been the Corporate Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy and the Chief Strategy Officer of the company since 2012. Prior to this, he served as the President at Decision Resources Consulting. He also served as the Partner at Accenture. Mr. Ho served at Pittiglio Rabin Todd & McGrath, and McKinsey and Company.
