Mr. Giuseppe Zafarana has been the Chairman of the company since 2023. Prior to this, he served as Commander General of the Guardia di Finanza; Interregional Commander for Central Italy; Chief of Staff of the General Command of the Guardia di Finanza; Regional Commander of Lombardy; and Provincial Commander of Rome. Mr. Zafarana currently also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM) since 2023 and, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Finint Investments since 2024.

Mr. Claudio Descalzi has been the Chief Executive Officer and Director of the company since 2014. Prior to this, he was the Chairman of Eni UK from 2010 to 2014. He served as Chief Operating Officer in the Exploration & Production Division of Eni from 2008 to 2014. Mr. Descalzi also served as the President of Assomineraria from 2006 to 2014. He worked as Deputy Chief Operating Officer of the Exploration & Production Division of Eni in 2005. Previously, he also worked as the Executive Vice President for Italy, the Middle East, Africa, and also as a member of the board of several Eni subsidiaries in the area from 2002 to 2005. In addition, he served as Executive Vice President from 2000 to 2001 for areas including Africa, the Middle East, and China; Vice President & Managing Director of Naoc, a subsidiary of Eni in Nigeria in 1998; Managing Director of Eni’s subsidiary in Congo from 1994. Prior to this, he was the Head of Reservoir and operating activities for Italy in 1990. Mr. Claudio Descalzi was also the Project Manager for the development of Nigeria, Libya, the North Sea, and Congo after joining the company in 1981 as an Oil & Gas field Petroleum Engineer.

Mr. Francesco Gattei has been the Chief Transition & Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of Eni since 2024. Prior to this, he served as Chief Financial Officer from 2020 to 2024 and held various roles in negotiations and business planning from 1995 onwards. He was also Senior Vice President of Market Scenarios and Strategic Options from 2011 to 2019.

Mr. Giuseppe Ricci has been the Chief Operating Officer Industrial Transformation of Eni since 2024. Prior to this, he served as Chief Operating Officer Energy Evolution from 2021 to 2024 and held various senior roles in refining and marketing since joining Eni in 1985.

Mr. Guido Brusco has been the Chief Operating Officer Global Natural Resources and General Manager of Eni since 2024. Prior to this, he served as Chief Operating Officer Natural Resources from 2022 and held the position of Executive Vice President for the Sub-Saharan Africa Region. He was also Managing Director in Kazakhstan from 2013 and Angola from 2015.
