Ms. Lucia Calvosa has been the Chairman of Eni since 2020. Prior to this, she worked in various positions such as the Chairman of Cassa di Risparmio of San Miniato SpA, Director of the Italian Banking Association (ABI), Independent Director and Chairman of the Control and Risk Committee of Telecom Italia SpA, and also as an Independent Director of SEIF SpA and Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena SpA. She also serves as an Independent Director on the board of CDP Venture Capital Sgr SpA and Banca Carige SpA, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Agi SpA, Eni Group, and the Board of Directors of Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM). Ms. Calvosa also serves as the Chairman of the Italian Corporate Governance Committee.

Mr. Claudio Descalzi has been the Chief Executive Officer, Director and General Manager of the company since May 2014. Prior to this, he was the Chairman of Eni UK from 2010 to 2014. He served as Chief Operating Officer in the Exploration & Production Division of Eni from 2008 to 2014. Mr. Descalzi also served as the President of Assomineraria from 2006 to 2014. He worked as Deputy Chief Operating Officer of the Exploration & Production Division of Eni in 2005. Previously, he also worked as the Executive Vice President for Italy, the Middle East, Africa, and also as a member of the board of several Eni subsidiaries in the area from 2002 to 2005. In addition, he served as Executive Vice President from 2000 to 2001 for areas including Africa, the Middle East, and China; Vice President & Managing Director of Naoc, a subsidiary of Eni in Nigeria in 1998; Managing Director of Eni’s subsidiary in Congo from 1994. Prior to this, he was the Head of Reservoir and operating activities for Italy in 1990. Mr. Claudio Descalzi was also the Project Manager for the development of Nigeria, Libya, the North Sea, and Congo after joining the company in 1981 as an Oil & Gas field Petroleum Engineer.

Mr. Francesco Gattei has been the Chief Financial Officer of the company since 2020. Prior to this role, he served as Upstream Director of Americas from 2019 to 2020. He was a member of Board of Directors from 2014 to 2015 in Saipem, served as Secretary to Advisory Board from 2016 to 2019 and also held Secretary of the Scenario and Sustainability Committee until 2019. Mr. Gattei also worked as Head of Investor Relations for the company from 2011 to 2014 and as Senior Vice President of Market Scenarios and Strategic Options from 2009 to 2011. In addition, he was the Head of Upstream M&A from 2008 to 2009; Head of Business Planning and Development from 2006 to 2008. Mr. Gattei worked for Western Libyan Gas Project as Head of Negotiations & Commercial Planning in Libya activities from 2001 to 2005. He began his career in Agip S.p.A. in 1995, at first as Business Analyst and then as Negotiator.

Mr. Giuseppe Ricci has been the Chief Operating Officer for Energy Evolution of the company since January 2021. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Refining & Marketing Officer of Eni from 2016 to 2021. Prior to that, he served as the Executive Vice President of Health, Safety Environment and Quality from 2012 to 2016. He also worked as Senior Vice President of the Industrial Sector for Refining & Marketing in 2010; during this period, he also held positions of Industrial Director and Chairman for Gela and Milazzo; Managing Director of the refinery in 2006; and Director of the Gela Refiner in 2004. Mr. Ricci was also responsible for Refining Processes Development at Agip Petroli in 2000. He joined Eni in 1985.
