Mr. Sundar Pichai has been the Chief Executive Officer of the company since 2017. He also serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Alphabet Inc. Prior to this, he served as the Senior Vice President of Products from 2014 to 2015, and the Senior Vice President of Android, Chrome and Apps at Google from 2013 to 2014. Previously, he held several positions at Google, including the Senior Vice President of Chrome and Apps; Vice President of Product Management; and Senior Vice President of Chrome. He joined the company in 2004. Prior to this, he served in engineering and product management at Applied Materials, Inc., and management consulting at McKinsey & Company. Earlier, Mr. Pichai also served as a Director of Jive Software, Inc.

Ms. Ruth M. Porat has been the President, Chief Investment Officer of the company since 2023. Prior to this, she served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Morgan Stanley from January 2010 to April 2015. Earlier she served as the Vice Chairman of Investment Banking, Global Co-Head of Technology Investment Banking, and Global Head of the Financial Institutions Group and various other executive positions at Morgan Stanley from September 2003 to December 2009.
