Mr. Jose Ignacio Sanchez Galan is the Chairman of the company. He also served as a Chief Executive Officer of the company. He joined the company in 2001 as Executive Vice Chairman and the Chief Executive Officer and in 2006 became Executive Chairman. Previously, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Airtel Movil S.A.; he served as Chairman of Eurojet since 1993 to 1995.Prior to this, he served as the Chief Operating Officer Industria de Turbo Propulsores S.A. Previously, he held several management positions at Sociedad Espanola del Acumulador Tudor S.A. He also serves as the Chairman of Avangrid Inc and Scottish Power Limited.

Mr. Pedro Azagra has been the Chief Executive Officer and Director of the company since June 2025. Previously, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Avangrid and Head of Iberdrola’s US Business. Prior to this, Mr. Azagra served as the Head of Corporate Development. He was also the Director of Strategy.

Ms. Maria Dolores Herrera Pereda is the Chief Compliance Officer of the company. Previoulsy, she served various roles at the company including head of legal services. Prior to this, she also held various positions at Arthur Andersen Asesores Legales y Tributarios, Santander Investment and Banco Santander.

Ms. Sonsoles Rubio Reinoso is the Chief Internal Audit and Risk Officer of the company. Previosly, she seved as the Director of Internal Audit of the company. Prior to this, she also served as the Director of Compliance at the company. Ms. Reinoso also served as the Director of Internal Audit at Iberdrola Renovables.

Mr. Jose Sainz Armada serves as the Chief Finance, Control and Corporate Development Officer at Iberdrola. Previously he has also served with J.P. Morgan, Argentaria Bolsa, Argentaria, Banco de Negocios Argentaria and BBVA. He also serves as the Chairman of Iberdrola Inmobiliaria, S.A.U.
