Mr. Arvind Krishna has been the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the company since December 2020. Previously, he served as the Senior Vice President of the Cloud and Cognitive Software unit at IBM. Mr. Krishna also served as the Director of IBM’s Research division from 2015 to 2020. Prior to this, he was the General Manager of IBM’s Systems and Technology Group.

Mr. Gary D. Cohn has been the Vice Chairman of the company since 2021. Prior to this role, he served as an Assistant to the President for Economic Policy and Director of the National Economic Council from 2017 to 2018. Before serving in the White House, Mr. Cohn served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc from 2006 to 2016. He joined Goldman Sachs in 1990 and held several leadership positions including the Global Co-Head of the Equities and Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities Division. Earlier, he was also the Chairman of the Firmwide Client and Business Standards Committee.

Mr. James J. Kavanaugh has been the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations of the company since 2018. Previously, he served as the Senior Vice President of Transformation and Operations at IBM from 2015 to 2018. Earlier, Mr. Kavanaugh also served as the company’s Controller from 2008 to 2015. Prior to this, he served as the Vice President of Finance and Operations for IBM's Sales and Distribution division from 2006 to 2008. Mr. Kavanaugh served as the Vice President of Finance and Operations for IBM's Americas Group. He also served as the Vice President of Finance and Planning at IBM EMEA, located in Paris, France.

Mr. Jonathan H. Adashek has been the Chief Communications Officer and Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications of the company since January 2022. Prior to this, he served as the Alliance Global Vice President at Renault Nissan Mitsubishi Alliance in Paris. Previously, he also held various senior level management positions including General Manager of Communications Strategy at Microsoft; Chief Communications Officer at Nissan Motor Co; and Global Client Relationship Manager and Executive Vice President at Edelman.

Mr. Sebastian Krause has been the Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer of the company since January 2023. Currently, he serves as a Director at Truata. Prior to this, he held various leadership positions of the company including General Manager of Global Cloud and Cognitive Software, and General Manager of Cloud and Cognitive Software for EMEA. Previously, he also served as the General Manager of global IBM Technology Sales of the company.
