The company's main activities include the extraction of tin through its subsidiary, Rahman Hydraulic Tin Sdn. Bhd., and the production of tin metal at its smelting plant in Port Klang. It produces and sells various grades of refined tin metal and by-products. It owns and operates a smelting facility, in Butterworth, which converts primary, secondary and complex tin-bearing ores into high purity tin metal by utilizing reverberatory furnace technology to suit industrial applications. The company has operations in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. MSC is headquartered in Port Klang, Selangor, Malaysia.
