Overview

Purchases crude oil from various producers and transports it to refineries or for resale at storage terminals, pipeline injection points, rail facilities, barge loading facilities, refineries, and other trade hubs. It also leases space and capacity in its owned assets, such as storage tanks, pipelines, barges, trucks, and railcars to third parties. Its major customers include crude oil refiners, producers, and marketers. Its operations are centered near the Bakken shale play in North Dakota; the DJ Basin in Colorado; the Permian Basin in Texas and New Mexico; the Eagle Ford shale play in Texas; the Anadarko Basin, including the STACK, Granite Wash, SCOOP; southern Louisiana at the Gulf of Mexico; and Mississippi Lime plays in Oklahoma and Texas. NGL owns Grand Mesa pipeline that transports crude oil from its origin in Colorado to Cushing in Oklahoma. The Grand Mesa pipeline includes an interest in a crude oil pipeline jointly owned with Saddlehorn Pipeline Company LLC.
