Mr. Kevin T. Kabat has been the Chairman of the company since March 2019. Prior to this, he served as the Vice Chairman of the company. He also served as the President, Executive Vice President, Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman of Fifth Third Bancorp. He also served as the President and Chief Executive Officer Fifth Third Bank; and Vice Chairman and President of Old Kent Bank. Currently, he serves as a Director of Unum Group.

Mr. Lloyd Yates has been the Chief Executive Officer, President and Director of the company since February 2022. Prior to this, he served as the Executive Vice President for Customer and Delivery Operations, and President for Carolinas Region at Duke Energy Corporation.

Mr. Donald E. Brown has been the Executive Vice President, President of NiSource Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer of the company since 2020. Prior to this, he served as the Treasurer of the company from 2015 to 2016. He also served as the Executive Vice President of Finance Department of the company; and Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of UGI Utilities, a division of UGI Corporation.

Mr. Chris Garland is the Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer of the company since 2020. Previously, he was the Vice President of Communications for Medtronic since 2010. Prior to that, he served in a number of communication roles in Wyeth.

Ms. Sandra Brummitt has been the Senior Vice President of Administrative Services, and Chief Procurement Officer of Nisource since 2023. Prior to this, she served as the Senior Director for Global Tax Reporting at Walmart and was also the Vice President for Tax at Exelon's Utility business. Currently, Ms. Brummitt serves as the Treasurer for the Center for Healthy Families,a Board member for Gladden Community House and on the Advisory Board for the African American Leadership Academy.
