Mr. Dana Dykhouse has been the Chairman of the company since 2021. He served as Director at NorthWestern since 2009. Mr. Dykhouse serves as the Chief Executive Officer at First PREMIER Bank since 1995. He also serves on the boards at Junior Achievement of South Dakota, the South Dakota State University Athletic Champions Council, Sioux Falls Development Foundation, Children's Care Hospital Foundation and Sioux Falls Sports Authority.

Mr. Brian B. Bird has been the Chief Executive Officer and Director of the company since January 2023. Prior to this he served as Chief Operating Officer and President of the company from 2021 to 2022. Prior to this role, he served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of NorthWestern Energy since December 2003. Prior to this, he served as the CFO and Principal of Insight Energy Inc from 2002 to 2003; and Vice President and Treasurer of NRG Energy Inc from 1997 to 2002. Mr. Bird also serves on the board of directors of a NorthWestern subsidiary.

Mr. Britt E. Ide has been the Chief Executive Officer of Ide Energy & Strategy and Director of the company since January 2023. Previously, she served as the interim Chief Executive Officer of the Big Sky Chamber of Commerce (2016) and Senior Counsel at Idaho Power Company.

Ms. Crystal D. Lail has been the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of the company since 2021. Prior to this role, she served as Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President of the company since 2015.She served various roles in utility industry since 2003.
